Description:
The Beginners Blues Harmonica Course provides simple & fun
instruction for the beginning Blues harmonica player. The Course
is structured in a way that ensures participants will be playing
blues harmonica as fast as possible.
You will learn songs and exercises that will get you comfortable
moving around the harmonica, & you will be shown how to
play all the great cool sounds & patterns available on the
harmonica without having to learn advanced techniques.
As an introduction to The Blues Harmonica you will also learn
about common Blues Structure & Phrasing techniques that
will help you to construct your first harmonica solos.
How
It all works
After
registering for this program, all of the lesson material will
be sent to you via courier.. When you receive the package
start working through the material with the assistance of the
provided workbook. After completing each lesson (approximately
one month) you will be asked to play specific examples onto
tape,CD or MP3(any home boom box with a built-in microphone
will work), Mail your tape, CD or email your MP3 to BTHS and
an instructor will listen to your assignment and critique your
playing with suggestions on how to improve or advise that you
are ready for the next lesson.
Your instructor will listen to your assignment and make comments
on a new recording. This recording is then sent back to you
to start the process of preparing for the next lesson.
Upon successful evaluation on the course, you will receive recognition
as
“Blues Beginner”- Trained” status.
